Donner's Debriefing
"It was a solid race for our lades. We had a few of our freshmen run quite well, especially McNally and O'Day. A couple of upperclassmen are at a better level than a year ago. We did have some people look tired. We have been training hard and getting a nice boost effect. I believe the future looks bright."
Recap
McNally started her collegiate career with a commanding win. The freshman's speed of 14:11.70 was nearly 15 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.Â
Fellow freshman Kerry O'Day had a great Saturday, placing fourth. Her time of 14:40.70 put two Bison in the top five.
A third freshman, Katie Moncavage, grabbed 12th place. She almost broke the 15-minute mark, finishing 15:02.60.
Kaitlyn Segreti, a senior walk-on, impressed with her 15th placement, recording a time of 15:05.60.
Sophomore Bradley Weldon rounded out the Bison scorers by earning 16th place. Her mark of 15:12.80 unlocked the placement.
