Men's Swim & Dive Lands Program-Record 21 Student-Athletes on PL Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team landed a program-record 21 student-athletes on the 2024 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, eclipsing the previous high mark of 20 set in 2021. Bucknell was one of four Patriot League men's swim & dive teams to place 20 or more on the honor roll this season.
Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their league champion is crowned. Bucknell as a whole recorded a league-high 526 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2023-24, including 352 during the winter-spring season.
As a team, men's swim & dive achieved a 3.51 GPA during the spring semester. 15 Bison earned Dean's List status with a 3.5 GPA or higher, and two achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs: Andy Dorsel and Nick Shopis. Additionally, Justin DiSanto, Chris Kopac, Braden Beagle and Andy Dorsel were College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team members this season, and Kopac was voted to the 2024 Academic All-Patriot League Team in March.
Senior Kevin Crane made the Patriot Academic Honor Roll for a fourth time in his career.
