Donner's Debriefing
"The Team Challenge is a good meet filled with schools representing a variety of conferences and even different divisions in a scored meet. We are only two weeks from the Patriot League Championships, so we need to find that threshold to do what's best to keep the athletes on the team healthy. We also want them to focus on scoring points to put us in a position to win the meet. We are also trying to solidify our 35-person lineup for league championships. We are also excited to honor our seniors competing in their last regular season home meet."
Senior Day Honorees
The Bison will honor 25 women after the meet. The honorees are Samantha Blackman, Olivia Boyce, Courtney Butz, Ally Clarke, Sarah Durkan, Abby Eisold, Mari Engleby, Lila Gaughan, Annie Glenning, Emily Grubb, Emily Heese, Maddy Hippensteal, Karen Hull, Abby Kates, Eva Lindner, Colleen Linko, Madison McGloin, Siobhan O'Sullivan, Abby Paczewski, Meghan Quinn, Laura Sakol, Meghan Smith, Hailey Tabar, and Hollie Walters.
The group includes some of the greatest sprinters and jumpers in Bucknell history. Altogether they hold 14 school records, one facility record, and 37 top-ten marks.
Last Year's Bucknell Team Challenge
The Bison will split their attention next weekend between the Bloomsburg meet and the historic Penn Relays.

Last Year's Bucknell Team Challenge
- Bucknell won the meet, scoring 227 points far ahead of Army's second-place total of 72. The Orange & Blue won nine events and set two school records in the high jump and the 4x100-meter relay.
- It was a banner day for the Bison jumpers. Karen Hull set the school record in the high jump with a leap of 5-8 3/4, overthrowing the previous mark set in 2023 by fellow teammate Abby Kates. Olivia Boyce tied the old record of 5-7 3/4. Hull has since broken her mark with a 5-9 1/4 jump at the ECAC Outdoor Championships.
- The 4x100-meter relay "A" team of Bridget Lalonde, Meghan Quinn, Lila Gaughan, and Karen Hull shattered the school record in the event. They raced to a time of 46.32 to win the event and earn 10 points for the squad. The grouping later improved upon their school record with a 45.92 mark.
- The event went off without a hitch until a thunderstorm on Sunday evening forced the cancelation of the 4x400-meter relays and the men's pole vault.
- Evelyn Bliss continued to dominate in the javelin throw. The freshman thrower won gold, tossing the instrument 170-10 feet. Furthermore, her toss beat the West Fields facility record (170-6) set back in 2022 by P. Dumont of Team Quebec. Bliss won her second Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.
- The throwing department, as a whole, had a great weekend, with Madison McGloin also picking up first in the hammer throw. The senior thrower's 177-7 mark moved her to fifth all-time in Bison history.
- Justley Sharp continued her highly fruitful freshman season with two event victories in the discus and shot put. In the discus throw, Sharp threw an impressive 156-3, improving upon her fourth-best distance in Bucknell history. For the shot put, Sharp's 48-9 ½ missed tying her best of 48-9 ¾.
The Bison will split their attention next weekend between the Bloomsburg meet and the historic Penn Relays.
