
Men's Track & Field Currently Fourth at the Patriot League Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass.- The Bucknell Bison men's track & field team sits fourth after the first day of the Patriot League Indoor Championships. The Navy men's team totaled 73.5 points through the first day of the championship, while Army West Point sits in second with 51. Boston University (37), Bucknell (9), and Lafayette (8.5) close out the top five. Lehigh (8), American (4), Holy Cross (4), and Colgate (0) round out the men's team standings.

Rookie Bernard Kemp introduced himself to the Patriot League by placing fourth in the long jump. The freshman's leap of 23-4 filled Bucknell's till with five points.
The Bison unlocked three points in the 4x800-meter relay. The "A" Team of Alex Simpson, Hayden Singer, Zachary Jelinek, and Colby Belczyk finished sixth (7:41.15).
Henry Didden gave Bucknell a point in the 5000-meter run. The sophomore finished eighth (14:33.61).
Ethan Wolford-Tuffy continued his season-long success in the 400-meter dash by placing second in the qualifying round. He achieved a time of 48.22. Wolford-Tuffy also qualified for the 200-meter dash finals with his eighth-place finish (22.26).
Two Bucknell runners qualified for the 60-meter dash finals. Cooper Hyken placed fourth (6.89), and Brandon Foust finished sixth (6.93).
Jack Higgins qualified for the mile run final with his seventh-place finish (4:09.62). The freshman missed inclusion in the Bucknell top ten list by less than a second.
Brian Scotto qualified for the 60-meter hurdles finals with a time of 8.24. He finished seventh.
