Women’s Golf Wraps up Play at Advance Golf Partners Collegiate

RESULTS
PALM CITY, Fla. – Paige Richter carded a 4-over-par 76 to lead the Bucknell women's golf team in the final round of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, hosted by UNC Greensboro at Hammock Creek Golf Club. Featuring a lineup with three freshmen and a sophomore, the Bison closed with a 324 team score and finished in 13th place with a 54-hole total of 961.
After a nice run of 14 straight pars, Richter was just 2-over heading into her final hole before a double-bogey at the par-5 17th pushed her to 4-over for the day. The sophomore was the low Bison for the week, finishing T-50th with rounds of 79-83-76.
Bucknell also counted an 81 from Lila Smith, an 83 from Nicole Yun, and an 84 from Cristina Canales.
Jacksonville State and Elon tied atop the team standings with 54-hole totals of 897. Morehead State (899), UAB (909), and Lipscomb (912) rounded out the top five in a strong field.
Jacksonville State's Jinger Heath closed with a 69 to finish the tournament at 4-under 212. She was a five-shot winner over Elon's Annie Wu and Boston University's Christy Chen.
Bucknell's next tournament is not until March 11-12 at the SMSU Spring Classic at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
