Canales Leads Bison on Day 2 at Hammock Creek

RESULTS
PALM CITY, Fla. – Cristina Canales carded a 5-over-par 77 to lead the Bucknell women's golf team in round two of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate at Hammock Creek GC on Monday. The Bison tallied a 318 team total, one better than their first-round score, and are in 13th place with one more round to come on Tuesday.
Canales recorded a birdie and 12 pars on the way to her 77. She is the low Bucknell player for the week, tied for 40th at 157 total. Sofia Nogalo followed with a 78, and the Bison also counted an 81 from Nicole Yun and an 82 from Lila Smith.
Morehead State's MacKenzie Moore followed her first-round 68 with a 74, and she has a one-shot lead at 2-under 142. Jinger Heath of Jacksonville State and Annie Wu of Elon are both 1-under.
Jacksonville State has the team lead with a 592 composite through 36 holes. Morehead State (594), Elon (595), Lipscomb (606), and UAB (610) round out the top five.
The third and final round is slated for Tuesday morning.
