ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Liam Kilmer and Shiv Singh both went 3-0 in singles play to highlight the Bucknell men's tennis team's weekend at the Navy Invitational. The competitive tournament, which featured the likes of Richmond, James Madison, Saint Joseph's, and LIU in addition to the host Midshipmen, marked the end of a highly successful fall season for the Bison.
Playing in the Red flight, Kilmer won two three-set matches against Navy's Jeffrey Etterbeek and Binghamton's Filipe Costa, and he also won once by injury default. Singh found little resistance in the Yellow draw, conceding only eight games en route to three straight-set wins over opponents from Binghamton, LIU, and Navy.
Adam Stavrakas and Will Robinson both went 2-1 in the round-robin format. Stavrakas won a three-setter against Binghamton's William Morais Binnie, and he was impressive in a 6-2, 6-2 win over Esteve Agusti of James Madison. His only setback was a three-setter against Richmond.
Robinson won a three-set match against Binghamton's Andrew Fang, he downed Richmond's Zachary Portnoy 6-3, 6-2, and he dropped a three-setter against LIU.
