Donner's Debriefing
"Army is the defending champion who returns just about everyone and seemed to be the favored team right now. Boston seems to be a dark house and definitely have the talent to contend. We, Navy, and Lehigh have had some close results with each other at a couple mid-season meets. This will be a competitive league meet. We have had some health issues this year but our depth has allowed us to still be competitive and we are excited to race. If we can get 2-3 women contending for All-League spots, we should be contending for a top 2-3 team finish."

Bucknell returns to State College for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Nov. 15. The meet will be held at Penn State.Â

Overview
- Bucknell's women's team is currently No. 8 in the USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Poll, while Navy is No. 11 and Lehigh is ranked No. 13. Army West Point is No. 8 in the Northeast Region with Boston University coming in at No. 12.
- The Bison placed fourth at last year's championships. Abby Paczewski finished eighth to win Second Team All-League honors. Lauren Trapani grabbed 15th, just missing All-League laurels.Â
- The Orange & Blue are in position for a top three finish. Â
- Last time out, the Bison placed second at the 41st ECAC Championships.Â
- Caryn Rippey has been Bucknell's headlining runner for all her participating meets; nothing changed at the ECAC Championships. Running a solid 21:22.9 placed the junior runner at 13th as the highest-finishing Bison. She moved up seven spots from her halfway mark of 20th.
- Senior captain Lauren Trapani, recently profiled in a Tales from the Herd article, kept her name in print, finishing 20th at 21:41.3. Her second-half surge of five spots broke her into the top 20.
- Fellow senior captain Sarah Policano was only a second behind her teammate at 21:42.5. Her time gave her 22nd in the rankings. Policano's 12-spot jump in the second half spoke well of her stamina.
Bucknell returns to State College for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Nov. 15. The meet will be held at Penn State.Â
