About the Bison
- The Bison are eager for a victory after a challenging 1-2 weekend on the road. Bucknell narrowly lost to No. 20 George Washington (10-12) and Navy (14-13) but secured a solid 16-10 win over Johns Hopkins. Head Coach John McBride also reached a career milestone, earning his 223rd win to tie Dick Russell for the school's all-time record.

The Bison established control early, with Shay Gillearn opening the scoring and Ryckman quickly adding two more. Bucknell's 11-4 first-half run set a strong pace against the Blue Jays, who managed to outscore the Bison in the fourth quarter but couldn't overcome the gap. Defensively, David Dumitru excelled with 15 saves, while Gillearn added three steals, and Ethan Mogultay and Tyler Hedblad each contributed two. Maxime Touzot and Ryckman drew seven ejections, and assists from Murad, Gillearn, and Stefanovic underscored a well-rounded team effort.

- Mount St. Mary's and Bucknell met previously this year at Kinney Natatorium for the Bison Invitational where the Bison notched a 18-13 win over the Mountaineers.Freshman Tyler Hedblad, led the way with four goals against Mount St. Mary's, supported by Sean Tunnicliff's three goals and two each from Matt Ryckman, Aleksa Stefanovic, Jack Dillane, and Shay Gillearn. A high-scoring start saw Bucknell up 5-4 early on, and after a brief tie, they allowed only one more goal until midway through the third quarter. Dillane broke the 5-all tie, and Tunnicliff and Hedblad quickly extended the lead to 10-6 by halftime. With a strong performance from goalie Matteo Herrera and key assists from Stefanovic, Bucknell pushed to a 14-10 advantage, securing the game with smart passing and finishing in the fourth.
