Men's Water Polo Falls in Narrow Matchup Against No. 20 Navy

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's water polo team wrapped up a weekend road trip with a close contest against No. 20 Navy on Sunday afternoon, narrowly falling 14-13.
Aleksa Stefanovic opened the scoring with the first goal of the game, setting the tone for a tight matchup. The teams exchanged goals throughout, with neither side taking a decisive lead until the third quarter, when Navy pulled ahead by two after outscoring the Bison 5-3. Bucknell fought back in the fourth, outscoring the Midshipmen 3-1, with goals from Jovan Udovicic, Stefanovic, and Matt Ryckman to keep it close until the final whistle.
Stefanovic led the offense with an outstanding nine goals, while Ryckman, Udovicic, Tyler Hedblad, and Hasan Mogultay each added one.
