RESULTS
FARMINGTON, Pa. – Hayden Quinn made four birdies and posted a team-best 75 on Tuesday as the Bucknell men's golf team closed with a 308 team score in a 10th-place finish at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, hosted by West Virginia at the challenging Mystic Rock GC.
Tuesday's tally followed rounds of 310 and 297 on Monday. Bucknell's 915 total put it ahead of Towson, Robert Morris, Central Michigan, and Mount St. Mary's. The host Mountaineers led wire-to-wire, finishing with an 866 total for a 12-stroke win over George Mason.
Freshman Patrick Pritsios followed Quinn with a 76, and Pritsios was the low Bison for the week, finishing T-20th with a 224 total (72-76-76). The Bison also counted a 78 from Jack Hartman and a 79 from Jake Maddaloni in the third round.
West Virginia's Kaleb Wilson carded a 2-under-par 70 to finish at 7-under 209 for the tournament, and he claimed medalist honors by three shots over teammates Ryan Leach and Todd Duncan.
The Bison will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday at the Red Flash Invitational at Sunnehanna Country Club.
