Bucknell Football's Home Opener vs. VMI Moved to 3 p.m. Saturday Due to Weather Forecast

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Kickoff for the Bucknell football team's Saturday, Sept. 9 game against VMI, originally scheduled for 6 p.m., has been moved up to 3 p.m. due to the impending weather forecast. Additionally, the Bucknell student tailgate, Geisinger t-shirt giveaway and postgame fireworks will be rescheduled for a later game. Saturday's student concert location has also been moved to the indoor rain location.
Bucknell will still be celebrating First Responder and Hero Appreciation Day as well as Football Alumni Weekend and Hall of Fame Weekend at Saturday's home opener. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, and the radio broadcast will be available on 100.9 The Valley (WVLY) or at BucknellBison.com.
Gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Tickets are available at the Bucknell Campus Box Office or by calling 570-577-1000. In the event of a lightning delay, fans are encouraged to find cover, and for safety purposes, the Gridiron Club hospitality tent will not remain open during a severe weather delay.
