Bucknell Football Alumnus Earns Super Bowl Ring with Seahawks

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell Football alumni, Devin Fitzsimmons, earned a Super Bowl Ring on Sunday as a part of the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff.
Fitzsimmons, the assistant special teams coach for Seattle, played quarterback and wide receiver while with the Orange and Blue. He earned a bachelor's degree in history at Bucknell before coming back to coach the Bison wide receivers in 2006.
The Folsom, La. native joined the Seahawks staff as the assistant special teams coach on February 15, 2024 after spending time with the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts.
Along with coaching in the NFL, Fitzsimmons coached at various collegiate programs including; Shaw University, Kansas State, Virginia, Richmond, Delaware, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
