LEWISBURG, Pa. – Single-game tickets for the 2023-24 men's and women's basketball teams are now on sale through Bucknell's Campus Box Office. Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone at 570-577-1000, or in person at the Weis Center location on campus.
Excitement is high surrounding the Bison men's basketball program with the return of former star guard John Griffin III as head coach. The team is pushing hard for a Sojka Pavilion sellout for the Nov. 6 season opener against Delaware. As part of the opening-night festivities, fans will receive a "6th Man" tee shirt, presented by Weis, and a schedule magnet, presented by W&L.
The Bison men will also host Southern Indiana (Nov. 20), Princeton (Nov. 29), Radford (Dec. 16), and Saint Peter's (Dec. 30) in non-conference play before starting Patriot League action on Jan. 3 at home against Holy Cross.
The men's basketball team will also be playing a special exhibition game at Mount St. Mary's on Oct. 28, with all proceeds going to the BehanStrong foundation in support of Bucknell alum Pat Behan and his fight against ALS. Tip-off for the game will be at 4 p.m., and tickets are now on sale via the Mount St. Mary's Ticket Office.
Trevor Woodruff's women's team is also gearing up for a big season, and the Bison make their home debut on Nov. 24 against Robert Morris. Other non-conference home games include Saint Joseph's (Nov. 28), Cornell (Dec. 2), and Merrimack (Dec. 17). The first of nine Patriot League home contests comes against Lehigh on Jan. 10.
Season tickets for men's games, women's games, or a combo package are also currently on sale, as are Junior Bison Club plans. As a reminder, Wednesday (Sept. 6) is the last day that 2022-23 season ticket holders are guaranteed their same seats if they wish to renew for 2023-24.
