Men's Cross Country Races at the Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison men's cross country team finished 31st at the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Patriot League rival Lehigh University on Saturday. Bucknell competed as one of 43 teams in the College Men Gold race. The meet was 8k in length.

Donner's Debriefing

"It was a typical Paul Short Run for both teams," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Some of our athletes responded great to the competition while some struggled to get into a rhythm and got lost in the large numbers. It was a great learning experience, and I know we are a much better team than we showed today, so the future looks good once we get a few people in gear. Crockett is running consistently and although Didden may have been a tad off, he still hung in there. We had some big shakeups in our order after our top three due to some inconsistencies which we need to clean up."

Grayson Crockett finished 121st to lead all the Bison runners. His time of 25:11.7 achieved the placement.

Henry Didden grabbed 160th to finish second among the Orange & Blue runners with a time of 25:27.5.

Christian Cadmus placed 196th (25:40.1) to finish in the top 200.

Bobby Lynam earned 220th (25:47.9) to become the fourth Bison scorer.

Thomas White rounded out the Bison scoring effort by placing 246th (25:59.8).
