LEWISBURG, Pa.-Â The Bucknell University women's cross country team travels to New York on Saturday, Sept. 2, to participate in the Harry Lang Invitational in Hamilton, N.Y.Â
When:Â Saturday, Sept. 2, 11:45 a.m.
Where:Â Harry H. Lang Cross Country Course, Hamilton, N.Y.
Donner's Debriefing
"We are excited to open up our cross country season at Colgate," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Colgate is hosting the Patriot League Championships later this season, so getting on their course is critical. It is a tricky course with a few hills and many blind trails. It is the first meet of the season in which we traditionally are somewhat conservative with the quality of teams at his meet; we will be a bit more aggressive than our usual season openers. Seeing some of the league teams will give us a pretty good gauge of where we are at, but we also do not want to make it out to be more than just a good quality rust buster at a shorter-than-normal distance of 5k for the women and 6k for the men."
Overview
After the Harry Lang Invitational, the Bison will take a week off before returning to compete at the Colonial Invitational hosted by Robert Morris University on Saturday, Sept. 16. Â

Overview
- The Bison women seek to improve from their fifth-place finish at the 2022 Patriot League Championships. The team also finished 12th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals.Â
- Bucknell returns four of the top five runners from 2022.
- Keeley Mistuka is the sole returning All-Conference runner for the women. She finished 12th in the 2022 Patriot League Championships.
- Many of the athletes ran well this past winter and spring to put themselves at a higher level, and the Bison had a solid recruiting class, so the depth should be much better this year.Â
