Bucknell Women’s Golf to Celebrate 25th Anniversary in October

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's golf team will be celebrating its 25th anniversary season in 2023-24, and head coach Laura Tyler-Cook has invited all Bison women's golf alumnae along with parents and friends of the program to a special event on Oct. 13-14 in Lewisburg.
On Friday, Oct. 13, there will be a reception and meet-and-greet with the current team from 7-9 p.m. at the Bachman Golf Center. The next day, guests may take part in a round of golf at the Bucknell Golf Club, starting with a 9 a.m. shotgun. Following the golf tournament, there will be a luncheon at the clubhouse, where we will celebrate the achievements of the Bison women's golf program.
Hall-of-Famer Brad Tufts, who founded the varsity program in 1998, will be in attendance to help share in the nostalgia and honor the history of Bison women's golf. This will also be the 10th anniversary of Bucknell's first Patriot League championship. The Bison won the 2014 title at Saucon Valley Country Club, which is one of nine tournament wins in team history.
