Morgan Sohosky Named to Academic All-Patriot League Women’s Golf Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior Morgan Sohosky was selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team on Friday. The Bloomsburg, Pa., native enjoyed a strong spring season, when she averaged a career-best 78.3 and finished tied for 14th in her first Patriot League Championship appearance.
Sohosky shot 78-76-75 at the Patriot League Championship at Independence GC in Virginia, and she helped the Bison break their 54-hole postseason scoring record by 20 strokes. Sohosky's 219 was her best career 54-hole total. Earlier in the spring she finished T-10th at the SMSU Spring Classic in Arizona and 20th at the St. John's Invitational with rounds of 79-75.
Off the golf course, Sohosky is a Dean's List student majoring in markets, innovation, and design within Bucknell's Freeman College of Management. She is a member of the College of Management's DEI Committee, the Bison Finance Society, and the Women in Finance Club. She will be working as a wealth management analyst in New York City after graduation.
Sohosky was joined on the Academic All-Patriot League squad by Boston University's Christy Chen, Lehigh's Madison Pineda, Navy's Stephanie Lee, and Richmond's Vicky Zhu. Chen, the 2023 Patriot League champion, was also picked as the Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
