About the Bison

Bucknell is back on the course Monday and Tuesday at the St. John's Invitational at Saint Andrew's Golf Club, located just north of New York City in Westchester County.
Tatum McKelvey, Viveka Kurup, Cristina Canales, Morgan Sohosky, and Tara Thomas will go out this week, with Sahana Paravantavida also playing as an individual.
Bucknell was last in action on Apr. 1-2 at the Prospect Bay Invitational. The Bison finished ninth of 16 teams in a tournament that was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather. Bucknell posted a pair of 321s, with Paige Richter leading the way with rounds of 79-78.
Richter is not in the lineup this week, but she leads the team with a 77.4 scoring average.
Kurup made her spring debut last week and shot 81-79.
This is the 25th season for the Bison women's golf program, which debuted in 1998-99. Laura Tyler-Cook is the fourth head coach in team history, following Brad Tufts, Kevin Jamieson, and Lisa Francisco.

This is Bucknell's first appearance in this event.
St. John's last hosted this event in the fall of 2021. Quinnipiac shot 286 on day one to take a 14-shot lead on UAlbany, and then the second round was rained out.

Next Up

Bucknell will appear at the Navy Spring Invitational on Apr. 15-16 before heading to Independence GC in Virginia for the Patriot League Championship Apr. 21-23.
