Women's Track & Field Clinches Three Wins on Final Day of Maroon & Gold Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison women's track & field team grabbed three victories on the final day of the Maroon & Gold Invitational. The day consisted only of throws, and due to damage to the Bloomsburg facility, the competition took place at the Bucknell throwing fields.Â
Results
The Bison dominated the hammer throw, placing hurlers 1-2-3 in the standings. Madison McGloin led the way outpacing the second-place thrower by 18 feet thanks to her toss of 167-09. Isabelle Roes finished second (149-02), and Anne Glenning grabbed third (148-08).Â
Phoebe Blumberg won the javelin throw on a toss of 114-02. Two other Bison tossers finished in the top five: Ariana Gambrell earned second (109-06)) and Madeline Lehker placed fourth (99-10).Â
Bucknell won the discus throw on Christine Ajao's fling of 121-09. Roes was right behind her in second with a toss of 120-05.Â
Avery Rebar finished second in the shot put. Rebar tossed the instrument to the placement of 38-04.25.
