RESULTS
PHOENIX, Md. – The Bucknell men's golf team posted a 305 team score in a rain-delayed third and final round of the Patriot League Championship, and the Bison finished in fifth place with a 54-hole total of 919.
Senior Blake Wisdom closed out a terrific Bucknell career with a 3-over par 75, and he was the low Bison for the tournament in a tie for 12th place with a 230 total. Freshman James Key finished up with a 76 and was one stroke behind Wisdom with a 231 total, good for a tie for 16th place. Fellow first-year Andres Barraza also shot 76 on Sunday and placed 22nd at 233.
Bucknell also counted a 78 from senior Jackson Bussell in the final round, which was delayed more than three hours due to heavy rain at Hillendale Country Club. The weather was a major storyline all weekend, and no player in the field finished under par for the tournament.
Lehigh earned the team and individual titles, as Daniel Song paced the field with a 1-over total of 217 (76-70-71). Loyola's Michael Crowley also closed with a 71 and was the runner-up with a 220 total.
Lehigh started the day in second place but jumped ahead of Colgate by outscoring the Raiders 296-303. The Mountain Hawks finished with an 894 composite, six shots better than Colgate. Loyola was third at 902, followed by Holy Cross (911), Bucknell (919), Navy (923), Army (924), and Lafayette (935).
