Results
"The rainy weather made for a long, tough day at the Penn Relays; however, I thought our athletes competed very well," said head coach Kevin Donner. "The highlights on the men's side were a very solid DMR (distance medley relay) with a guest anchor leg from Samuel Whittaker, who ran a 4:05 1600 split, and Zamarra threw well in the shot put with a season-best mark."
The distance medley relay quartet of Jayson Harmer, Ethan Wolford-Tuffy, Alex Simpson, and Samuel Whittaker broke into the Bucknell all-time lists with their time of 9:53.62. The mark earned them fourth in Bucknell history and ninth in the meet.Â
Anthony Zamarra nabbed a 12th-place finish in the shot put on a heave of 54-3 1/4. He missed breaking into the top ten by a few precious inches.Â
The 4x100-meter relay foursome of Cooper Hyken, Matthew Perello, Ethan Wolford-Tuffy, and Brandon Foust finished 22nd with a time of 44.36.
