Water Polo Heads West to the Wolverine Invite for Two CWPA Games

LEWISBURG, P.A.- The Bucknell Bison women's water polo team (5-14, 0-2 CWPA) travels to Ann Arbor for four games, including two CWPA contests against Saint Francis University and the host Michigan Wolverines. The Bison play Saint Francis and Marist on Saturday and battle #12 Michigan and #20 San Jose State on Sunday.Â

The Inside "Herd" on the Bison
- The Bison went 1-3 last weekend at the Princeton Invite, defeating Siena and falling to Iona, LIU, and Villanova.Â
- Bucknell is 12-3 all-time against the Red Flash of Saint Francis University, but the team has dropped the last three contests, including a 16-11 loss this season at the Bucknell Invitational.
- The Bison are 14-6 against Marist but lost earlier this year 18-11 to the Red Foxes.Â
- The Orange & Blue are 0-27 all-time against CWPA rival Michigan, including a 12-1 defeat this year at the Bucknell Invitational.Â
- Bucknell is 1-2 in the series versus San Jose State, but the Bison won the last matchup in 2019, 10-9 in overtime.Â
