LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell's Will Hopkins was voted the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week on Monday after tallying three goals in Saturday's game against Boston University. It's the second time this season Hopkins has earned the honor.
Hopkins, a native of Severna Park, Md., scored two goals in the second quarter and one in the third for his third multi-goal game of the season. It was also his second hat trick after scoring three goals in the Robert Morris game, which also earned him the Rookie of the Week award on Feb. 13. One of Hopkins' goals on Saturday was during a man-up opportunity, and he also added a ground ball.
