Jack Krug Collects Patriot League Male Diver of the Week Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell men's diver Jack Krug was named Patriot League Male Diver of the Week for his performance at the Bucknell Invitational at Kinney Natatorium over the weekend. The sophomore contributed 52 points to the team's first-place finish at the meet.
Krug, who is Bucknell's second Patriot League Diver of the Week recipient this season, took fourth place on both boards. He registered a 255.6 on the 1-meter and a 290.65 on the 3-meter in the finals. He was the highest placing Bison in both events and finished only behind Davidson and UMBC divers.
Krug's 290.65 in the 1-meter ranks seventh on Bucknell's all-time top 10 list, as he became just the second Bison to register 290 points or better since 2016.
Krug is the third Bucknell swimmer or diver to take home a weekly award this season, following John Gehrig and Jackson Vinarub.
The Bison return to competition on Saturday, Jan. 13 for a dual meet at Army.
