Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper Jenna Hall Named Bison of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Jenna Hall notched her school-record-tying 22nd career shutout in a 2-0 blanking of Patriot League rival Navy on Friday night, and that outstanding performance has garnered the senior goalkeeper this week's Bison of the Week honors.
Hall made six saves, three in each half, against the Patriot League's highest-scoring team. Her best save of the night came with the Bison protecting a 2-0 lead midway through the second half. The dangerous Amanda Graziano found herself with space in the box with the Bison defense stretched, but Hall came out to the center of the area to smother the shot.
Hall's fifth clean sheet of the season gave her 22 in her career, which tied Jessica Ratner's Bucknell record. Her performance against Navy upped her season save percentage to .831, which ranks No. 2 in the Patriot League, and her 5.7 saves per game lead the conference.
Friday's win gave the Bison (7-3-3, 2-1-2 PL) three critical points in the Patriot League standings and vaulted them into third place, trailing only Loyola (4-1-0) and Boston University (3-1-1). Bucknell plays each of those top two squads this week. The Bison travel to Loyola on Wednesday night before hosting Boston University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
