- The Bison prepare for a packed few days of MAWPC rivalry play, with competitions against the Mountaineers away on Friday and then returning home on Saturday against the Revolutionaries and the Seahawks, and finishing off the weekend Sunday against the 19th-ranked Midshipmen.Â
- The Bison face off against the Mountaineers for the first time this season.
- In the 2022 season, Bucknell saw competition against Mount St. Mary's twice, notching a 12-8 win the first time and a 22-10 win the last game of the regular season.
- Previously this season, Bucknell took on George Washington away in Washington, D.C., in which it notched a 13-11 win.
- Junior center Matt Ryckman had a buzzer-beater to end the third quarter, closing the gap for the Bison 11-10.
- Junior center defender Hasan Mogultay had a penalty shot early in the fourth period, which tied the game at 11-11. Then sophomore attacker Aleksa Stefanovic skipped home a shot with 5:44 remaining to give the Bison the lead again.
- First-year goalie David Dumitru had a few critical stops for the Bison defense.
- Bucknell plays Wagner for the first time this season.
- Previously, the Bison competed against the Seahawks twice during the 2022 season.
- In the first of the two contests, Bucknell tallied an 11-9 win over Wagner when the Bison outscored the Seahawks 4-1 over the final eight minutes after Wagner made a comeback to tie the game at seven with 1:48 left in the third quarter.
- Stefanovic tallied a career-best five goals in the win, Mogultay had a pair of goals, Matt Ryckman, and Andu Vlasceanu had a goal each.
- Bucknell's second game against Wagner was an 11-5 win. After falling short in the first part of play, allowing the Seahawks to gain the lead, the Bison shifted into gear, tallying six unanswered goals to secure the lead.
- Bucknell and No. 19 Navy face off for a second time this season, having previously played last Sunday in Annapolis. The Bison had a tough-fought battle against the Midshipmen but ultimately fell 15-10.
