"This is one of those weekends in which there is a different mission for many different athletes," said head coach Kevin Donner. "We are taking three guys to PSU on Friday ( Whittaker-Mile, Calisi-35LB Weight Throw, Feeney-35 LB Weight Throw) who are primed and ready to compete against some very high-level competition. We have some of our better people resting, and others might be doing a secondary event. The rust-busting is now over after three weeks of practice and a couple of meets, so for this week and the next three weeks, we will focus on hitting fast times on the track and hitting far and high marks in the field events. We will be trying to set ourselves up for the championship meets."
