
Feddeler Positioned Fifth in Heptathlon After First Day of Bison Opener

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The 2025-26 track & field season began tonight at Gerhard Fieldhouse with the customary Bison Opener and Bucknell's Will Feddeler sits fifth in the heptathlon after four events with 2617 points.Â
The sophomore's best event of the night was his second place showing in the shot put. He threw 39-10.50 to lock down second and score 616 points. He tallied fifth place in the long jump (20-7.75) and sixth in the 60-meter hurdles (7.39) and high jump (5-9.75).Â
Shippensburg's Tyler Rossi currently paces the field with 2905 points, followed by Carnegie Mellon's Luke Freimanis (2765) and Lock Haven's Nick Bellomo (2718).Â
The heptathlon and the Bison Opener resume action tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.Â
