Karen Hull Named Bison of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Junior hurdler/jumper Karen Hull of the Bucknell women's track and field team has been selected as the Bison of the Week, for the week ending on Jan 22. Hull won both the 60m hurdles and the high jump to help lead the Bison to victory over seven foes in the Gulden Invitational this past Saturday. The Bison collected 190 points in the win.
Her first-place time of 8.80 not only netted her gold but it clinched ECAC qualification in the event. Additionally, the mark was only 0.06 seconds off her personal best time of 8.74.
Her high jump mark of 5-06.50 brought home additional crucial points for the Bison.
Hull now has 16 event victories in her collegiate career.
So far this season, Hull has clinched ECAC qualification in both the 60m hurdles and the high jump.
The women's track and field team returns to action this Friday and Saturday when the squad splits up to compete at the PSU National Invite and host the Bison Open and Multi.
