LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's swimming and diving team enjoyed a terrific 2022 spring semester in and out of the pool. The Bison finished second at the Patriot League Championships after posting a 9-1 dual-meet record, all while compiling a stellar 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. The Bison were recently named a Scholar All-America Team by the CSCAA, and on Monday they placed 28 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
To be named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. This marks the fifth consecutive academic year the League has topped 3,000 honor roll selections. Bucknell recorded a League-high 460 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2021-22, including 311 during the winter-spring season.
Among the 28 Honor Roll members are 25 who also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better. Eight Bison earned perfect 4.0 GPAs: Gillian Camperlengo, Meghan Catherwood, Alexis Faria, Grace Kujawski, Kaya Lichtner, Caroline Mayk, Jacqueline Rounsavill, and Molly See.
Haritgan and Abby Doss made the CSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team for clocking an NCAA 'B' cut time and achieving a semester grade point average of at least 3.50. Hartigan, Catherine Craig, and Sabrina Vumbacco were all named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team.
