Men's Swimming & Diving Places 17 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's swimming and diving team placed 17 student-athletes on the 2022 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. In addition to turning in a strong third-place finish at the Patriot League Championships, it was also a strong semester in the classroom for the Bison, as the squad combined for a 3.39 grade-point average.

To be named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. This marks the fifth-consecutive academic year the League has topped 3,000 honor roll selections. Bucknell recorded a League-high 460 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2021-22, including 311 during the winter-spring season.

Among the 17 Honor Roll members were 11 student-athletes who also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better. Junior Alec Baker and senior Derek Knight both earned perfect 4.00 GPAs, studying international relations and cell biology/biochemistry, respectively.
