Men's Lacrosse Lands 29 Student-Athletes on PL Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bucknell men's lacrosse team landed 29 student-athletes on the 2022 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday.
The program has now placed at least 20 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll every season since 2011, a 12-year stretch.
To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. This marks the fifth-consecutive academic year the league has topped 3,000 honor roll selections. Bucknell recorded a league-high 460 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2021-22, including 311 during the winter-spring season.
Bucknell achieved a 3.27 team GPA during the spring semester, and 24 student-athletes on the team earned Dean's List status with a 3.5 or higher. Freshman Ryan Caione, freshman Grant Malas, freshman Rich O'Halloran, sophomore Duncan Hill, junior Conor McCusker, senior Drew Wellington, senior Jared Hodell and senior Jack Van Slyke all posted perfect 4.0 GPAs.
Additionally, seniors Nick Crovatto, Frankie Higgins, Hodell, Travis Talarico, Zach Tucker and Harry Wellford earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll each year of their careers. Crovatto was voted to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in May.
