About Bucknell
• Looking to keep an already outstanding season going, Michaela Bracken will compete in both the high jump and the 400 hurdles. The senior earned a silver medal in the 400 hurdles at last week's Patriot League championships and broke the school record with a 1:00.52. Bracken is also the top-seeded high jumper on Saturday, having cleared 5-7 during the outdoor season and 5-8 during indoors.
• Sophomores Karen Hull and Abby Kates are in line to compete in high jump as well. Both earned points at the league championships last weekend, and Hull joined Bracken this season with the second-best mark in program history (5-7). Hull will also run the 100 hurdles after posting a personal-best 14.26 last weekend, which ranks third all-time.
• Also earning a silver medal last weekend was senior Ashlyn Ramos, who ran the second-fastest 5000 time in program history (16:22.42). Ramos, however, will run the 10k at the ECAC championships. She won the 10k at the 2021 league championships and ran it at the NCAA East Preliminary Meet. Ramos ran a career-best 34:04.76 in the 10k at Virginia last spring.
• Senior Emily Deschler and sophomore Meghan Smith will join Ramos in the 10k on Saturday.
• Running the 5000 for the Bison will be Mia Bellucci, who registered a personal-best 17.15.24 in the event last weekend. Bellucci also ran the event during the indoor ECAC championships, placing 15th.
• Karly Forker and Abigail Paczewski are both tabbed for the 1500. Forker earned bronze in the event last weekend and currently sits fourth in program history with the 4:27.68 she ran at the Bison Outdoor Classic in April. Meanwhile, Paczewski placed 12th (4:41.86) in the event last weekend.
• In the sprints, Meghan Quinn will run the 100 and 200. She sits on Bucknell's all-time top 10 lists in both events and scored in both last weekend. Bridget Lalonde and Jessie Castellano will be running the 400, and both juniors landed in the record books in the event this spring.
• Bucknell's sprinters will also be busy with the 4x100 and 4x400. The Bison posted the second-fasted 4x100 and the sixth-fastest 4x400 in program history this season. The 4x400 team took third during the indoor ECAC meet.
• In the field, both Jennifer Scott and Karly Renn qualified in the pole vault with the fifth-best marks in school history (12-1.5).
• Also earning spots on Bucknell's all-time top 10 lists this season were Gianna Macones and Lila Gaughan in the long jump. Macones took silver in the event at the league championships (18-6.5). Macones and Lexi Gray will compete in the triple jump as well.
• Additionally, Siobhan O'Sullivan will throw shot put and Anne Glenning will take part in the hammer throw. O'Sullivan grabbed fourth at the championships last weekend and sits sixth in the record book (45-9.25). She also placed fourth during the indoor ECAC meet in March.
Coach Donner's Take
"We are taking 19 women to the ECAC championships. Some are there to gain great experience in a championship level meet, and others are there to place high and earn All-East accolades," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Postseason track and field is exciting and a tremendous opportunity to extend the season, and more importantly to spend more time with their teammates and develop a championship culture."
