About the Bison
• Bucknell men's track & field will compete at the Lehigh Invitational this weekend for its third weekend of outdoor competition. It's a single-day meet that begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday and is scheduled to run through the afternoon.
• The Bison took part in the Colonial Relays at William & Mary last weekend and placed 16th out of 40 teams. Bucknell saw a number of athletes place in the top five in events, and sophomore Ethan Wolford-Tuffy cracked the school's top 10 list in the 400. Wolford-Tuffy, who also entered the top 10 for the indoor 400 this year, now ranks ninth in outdoors with a 48.32 that earned him fourth place at the Colonial Relays.
• Noah Martin placed fourth in the steeplechase, Anthony Zamarra took fourth in the shot put, and Robert Feeney was fourth in the hammer throw as well. Feeney received an honorable mention for Patriot League Men's Field Athlete of the Week.
• Bucknell's lone first-place finisher last weekend was first-year Grant Ellis in the unseeded high jump. The Bison also earned a pair of second-place spots in unseeded events, including John Calisi in the hammer throw and Peter Sorensen in the 10k.
• Bucknell's 4x1500 and 4x200 relay teams also scored at the Colonial relays, placing sixth and seventh, respectively.
