Bison Rowers Make Home Debut Saturday vs. Boston College, North Carolina, George Washington

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell rowing team will compete at home on the Susquehanna River for the first time in 2022, as Boston College, George Washington, and North Carolina will travel to Sunbury for a Saturday-morning competition.
The format for the day will be a double dual. The first set of races will feature Bucknell vs. George Washington and North Carolina vs. Boston College, starting at 8 a.m. Then at 11 a.m., Bucknell will race against Boston College, while GW and UNC will go head-to-head.
This is the first of three home events for Bucknell this spring. Eastern Michigan, Villanova, and Connecticut will be the guests on Apr. 16, and Lehigh, Delaware, and Duquesne will join the Bison on the Susquehanna on Apr. 30.
Bucknell also hosted the Doc Hosea Invitational last Sunday on the Cooper River in New Jersey. The Bison sent out their top three Eights, but racing was called off after the morning prelims due to inclement weather.
