Final Results
"It was a very good day with some very solid points from O'Sullivan in the shot put and a tremendous run from our 4x400 meter relay," said head coach Kevin Donner. "O'Sullivan has had a tremendous season and is probably one of our most improved athletes. Our 4x400 relay team ran almost five seconds faster than in the prelim yesterday, and all are juniors, so the future looks great. We had quite a few athletes sit this weekend out due to attrition from last weekend's Patriot League meet, but those who we had here in Boston did a great job, and this experience will definitely kick-start their outdoor season and make them better in the future."
Bucknell's all-junior 4x400 team of Mackenzie Turner, Jessie Castellano, Mikayla Horvath and Bridget Lalonde completed the relay in 3:45.80, smashing yesterday's qualifying time (3:50.26) and landing fourth on the program's top 10 list.
Both Castellano and Lalonde ran sub-56 splits, and Bucknell was just 0.42 seconds behind second-place William & Mary.
Sophomore Siobhan O'Sullivan also added to Bucknell's point total with a fourth-place finish in the shot put. O'Sullivan, who finished fourth at last week's Patriot League Championships as well, posted a mark of 45-5.75 on Sunday. Her 46-10.75 at the league championships ranks fifth in the Bucknell record books.
Bucknell also earned points on Saturday from Karen Hull in the high jump, as well as Gianna Macones and Lila Gaughan in the long jump.
