Where: Par-72, 5971-yard Bay Point GC at Panama City Beach Golf & Spa Resort, Panama City, Fla.

About the Bison

Bucknell makes its 2022 spring debut on Monday and Tuesday at the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic, hosted by Lipscomb. The Bison are the lone team from the Northeast in the 16-team field.
Bucknell competed in five fall tournaments, with a top finish of fifth place at the Bucknell Invitational. The Bison also participated in events hosted by Penn State, Youngstown State, Navy, and Delaware.
The Bison posted season-best team scores of 315-310-311 at the Bucknell Invitational. Freshman Tara Thomas was the team's top finisher. In just her second career start, Thomas shot 74-75-75 and placed T-7th.
Thomas led the team with a 78.0 scoring average in the fall.
Cristina Canales' second-round 72 at the Bucknell Invitational was the team's best score of the season. Thomas, Tatum McKelvey, and Sahana Paravantavida all posted 74s.
Bucknell will send out Paravantavida, Sun Woo Jeon, Thomas, Morgan Sohosky, and Kelsey Yi this week.

The Lady Bison Bay Point Classic

This will be Bucknell's first appearance in Lipscomb's spring tournament. The Bay Point Golf Club at Panama City Beach Golf & Spa Resort is a Jack Nicklaus design located on St. Andrew Bay.
Last year's event was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather on the final day. Campbell won the team title with a 611 total, two shots better than Troy.
