LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell field hockey fell 2-1 to Boston U. in its regular-season finale at Graham Field on Sunday. With the loss, the Bison were solidified as the No. 4 seed in the Patriot League tournament and will face the No. 1 Terriers again on Thursday in the semifinal round.
Bucknell's Lily Neilson posted a goal in the 19th minute to tie the game at 1-1 after Boston opened the scoring with a goal five minutes in. The Terriers later scored in the 38th minute to take the lead during a dominant third quarter where they posted all four shots and were awarded four penalty corners.
