
Bucknell Men's Swimming & Diving Defeats Binghamton, 173-128

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team remained unbeaten this season at 3-0 (2-0 PL) with a 173-127 win over Binghamton on Saturday. The Bison claimed nine event wins, grabbed nine second-place finishes and went 1-2 in both the 200 freestyle and the 200 backstroke.
Final Results
Leo Kuyl, Chris Fabian and reigning Patriot League Male Swimmer of the Week John Gehrig were each part of two event wins as well as two runners-up finishes. All three took part in Bucknell's winning 200 freestyle relay and the second-place 200 medley relay along with Justin DiSanto.
Kuyl also won the 50 freestyle and took second in the 100 butterfly. Fabian came out victorious in the 100 backstroke and placed second in the 100 freestyle. Gehrig earned a win in the 200 freestyle and was second in the 200 breaststroke.
Braden Beagle (200 backstroke), Alex Crossing (200 butterfly), Andy Dorsel (400 IM) and Jack Krug (1-meter dive) rounded out Bucknell's event winners. Krug was also a runner-up in the 3-meter dive.
Bucknell is off next weekend before returning to competition on Saturday, Nov. 5.
