Bucknell's Wellford Earns Spot on Preseason All-PL Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior captain Harry Wellford represented the Bucknell men's lacrosse team on the 2022 Preseason All-Patriot League Team, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Wellford, an offensive midfielder, earned his second-straight spot on this team. He enters his final campaign with 23 points (17g-6a) in 12 career games, all of which were starts.
Loyola (Md.), Lehigh and Army West Point were selected as the Patriot League's top-three teams in the preseason poll, which is compiled based on a vote by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
The Bison open their 2022 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 5 with an 11 a.m. game at Mercer. Their first home game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:30 p.m. against St. John's.
