LEWISBURG, Pa. – For a second time this season, Bucknell women's basketball senior Taylor O'Brien has been selected as the Bison of the Week. O'Brien notched a new career scoring high in Sunday's game at Army and was one rebound shy of a double-double.
O'Brien, who earned Bison of the Week honors back on November 28, poured in 25 points in the team's Patriot League opener in West Point on Sunday. It was her 19th consecutive game scoring in double figures and the eighth time she's eclipsed 20 points in her career.
Nine of O'Brien's 25 points came during the first quarter at Army, as she went 4-for-8 with a 3-pointer in the opening frame. Sunday was the third time this season the Lafayette Hill, Pa. native has hauled in nine or more boards, and she finished with two assists and a pair of steals as well.
