Swim & Dive Selected as CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

RICHMOND, Va. – The Bucknell swimming & diving teams were recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams for their performance in the classroom.
During the fall semester, the Bison women registered a 3.45 grade point average while the men's team recorded a 3.29. The squads have also excelled in competition this season, with the women going 9-1 (7-1 PL) and the men posting a 7-3 (6-2 PL) record in dual meet competition while each placing second at the competitive Bucknell Invitational.
On the women's side, 24 student-athletes made the Bucknell Dean's List, with Gillian Camperlengo, Meghan Catherwood, Sophia Donati, Caroline Mayk and Jacqueline Rounsavill earning perfect 4.0s.
For the men, 13 student-athletes earned a spot on the Bucknell Dean's List, with Garrett Kiesel and Derek Knight registering a 4.0. Knight previously represented the Bison on the 2021 Academic All-Patriot League Team.
In total, 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities were selected as CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams. Of these teams, 519 earned a GPA of 3.30 or above making them eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
