Women's Golf Wraps up Play at Nittany Lion Invitational

RESULTS
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Bucknell posted a 320 team aggregate on Sunday as the Nittany Lion Invitational wrapped up at the Penn State White Course. Sun Woo Jeon carded a team-best 76 and Sahana Paravantavida shot 77 in the final round, as the Bison finished in 14th place with a 955 54-hole tally.
Jeon's 76 was the second-best of her career, and the 4-over total was her best in relation to par. She enjoyed a steady final round, making 12 pars, a birdie and five bogeys. Paravantavida made a team-high three birdies on the way to her 77. Her 233 total for the weekend was the best on the team.
Cristina Canales was Bucknell's low player on Saturday with rounds of 75-77, but she dropped off with an 87 in round three. Also for Bucknell, Kelsey Yi finished with an 83 and twin sister Kayla Yi shot 84. Morgan Sohosky, playing as an individual, also shot 83.
Host Penn State claimed the medalist and also rolled to the team title with a 13-under total of 851. Delaware was second with a 1-under 863, and Princeton (869), Boston College (875) and Seton Hall (876) rounded out the top five.
Penn State's Mathilde Delavallade shot 69-68-69 for a 10-under total of 206, good for a three-shot win over Princeton's Victoria Liu and Delaware's Oihana Etxezarreta.
Bucknell is back in action on Sept. 13-14 at Youngstown State's Roseann Schwartz Invitational at Mill Creek GC.
