Men's Tennis Continues Play at Bucknell Invitational (UPDATE: Sunday's Play Rained Out)

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's tennis team continued play at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday.
In the No. 1 singles flight, Nick Mueller advanced to the final with a pair of wins, while Ryan Jurist retired due to injury in the first set of his semifinal match. Mueller picked up straight-set wins over a pair of Niagara opponents.
After winning his first-round match on Friday, Tim Zelikovsky dropped out of the main draw with a loss to Masi, but Zelikovski came back to win a three-set thriller in the consolation bracket. He defeated Manuel Alonso of Niagara 6-2, 2-6, 10-8.
Michael Owen also won a first singles consy match, 6-2 6-1 over Lafayette's Nash Lovallo.
In the No. 2 singles flight, freshman Nicolas Grunig remained alive in the main draw with a three-set win over Matt Blose of Saint Francis (Pa.), 4-6 6-2, 10-6. He will next face Matt Andrus of Niagara.
Mueller and Zelikovsky went out in the semifinals of the first doubles flight, and they will play for third place on Sunday.
The tournament wraps up on Sunday, with play beginning at 9 a.m.
