Bucknell at a Glance
• Four Bison will be in action in Binghamton this weekend for The Star Group Binghamton Challenge. Head coach Bruce Myers will send out Per Astrom, Nicolas Grünig, Carlos Carvalho and Nick Mueller.
• This is Bucknell's third fall tournament in as many weeks. After opening up at home with the annual Bucknell Invitational, several Bison competed at the Bloomsburg Invitational last weekend.
• It was a strong showing for Bucknell at Binghamton, as Mueller, Grünig, Michael Owen and Tim Zelikovsky combined for a 10-2 singles record. Mueller and Owen both won all three of their singles matches, and Owen and Zelikovsky teamed up for three straight doubles wins, dropping only four games along the way.
• Mueller puts a perfect 6-0 singles record on the line this weekend at Binghamton, and he actually has a seven-match winning streak dating back to last spring.
• Grünig, a freshman, is off to a fine start to his career with a 5-1 singles record. Owen and Zelikovsky are both 4-2 in singles, and Owen is also a perfect 4-0 in doubles, winning once with Ryan Jurist and three times with Zelikovsky.
• Carvalho, a freshman from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, could make his collegiate debut this weekend.
• Bucknell enters the weekend with a combined team singles record of 20-9 (.690).
The Star Group Binghamton Challenge
• Binghamton's annual fall tournament will feature an unusual format. The event will be comprised of a series of mini-duals made up of one doubles match and two singles matches. All singles matches will be best-of-three sets to four, with a super tiebreaker utilized as a third set.

• After the Binghamton tournament, the Bison head to Philadelphia for the Saint Joseph's Invitational Sept. 24-26.
