Singles Flights: One and Two
Singles Scoring: 2 out of 3 sets; match tie-break in lieu of 3rd set with no-ad scoring
Doubles Flights: One and Two
Doubles Scoring: One set with no-ad scoring
Schedule:
Friday (1 p.m. start): 1 rounds of singles, 1 round of doubles
Saturday (9 a.m. start): 1 round of singles, 2 rounds of doubles
Sunday (9 a.m. start): 1 round of singles
Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison are set to open their 2021-22 campaign by hosting the Bucknell Invitational this weekend. It will be their first tournament since 2019.
• Bucknell went 5-5 (2-3 PL) in the spring of 2021, most notably scoring a 4-2 victory over rival Lehigh in the Patriot League Tournament quarterfinals.
• The Bison posted a 6-3 (0-0 PL) record during their 2019-20 season that was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They won five of their final six matches that season, with two coming by 7-0 margins.
• Bucknell is captained by senior Daniela Bellini, a two-time All-Patriot League selection who enters her final campaign with a 34-15 singles record and a 33-20 mark in doubles play.
• The Bison lost three student-athletes to graduation following the 2021 spring season, including two-time All-Patriot League performer Cayla Koch.
• Bucknell welcomed three newcomers ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, including one international student-athlete.
• Head coach Tammy Cecchini is in her third season at the helm of the program. Through two abbreviated seasons with the Bison, she has compiled an 11-8 overall record.

Bison at the Bucknell Invitational
• The Bison have opened their season by hosting a fall tournament every year since 2010 (with the exception of the 2020-21 campaign due to the postponement of their season).
• At the 2019 Bucknell Invitational, Dax Seidlin (B singles) and Sofia Ayuso (D singles) won their individual brackets.
• In addition, Daniela Bellini and Cayla Koch advanced to the championship round of the A singles bracket; ultimately, the teammates did not play the final match.
• Bucknell won the doubles bracket behind strong performances by Koch, Seidlin, Bellini and Ayuso.
• As a freshman in 2018, Bellini emerged victorious in the A singles bracket. She went 3-0 in her very first competition at Bucknell, with two of her wins coming over All-NEC honorees.
A Look Ahead
• The Bison continue their fall schedule by traveling to Navy for the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational on Sept. 10-12.
