LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bison women's soccer team placed 20 members of its spring 2021 roster on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was announced by the league office on Monday.Â
To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 grade-point average during the semester in which their team competed.
Despite the pandemic-related challenges of navigating a modified academic and athletic environment, it was another banner year in the classroom for the Bucknell women's soccer team. The squad combined for a stellar 3.58 GPA this past spring, during which time the Patriot League conducted an abbreviated competition schedule after play was postponed in the fall.
Bucknell's Academic Honor Roll list includes three student-athletes who achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring: seniors Chloe Christakos and Jenna Marek, along with freshman Lea Tarzy. Of Bucknell's 20 honorees, 17 also made the Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or above.Â
