Connor McMenamin Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Connor McMenamin of the Bucknell University men's track and field and cross country team has been named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
McMenamin enjoyed a tremendous senior season that included a First Team All-Patriot League honor in cross country in placing fifth overall, two Academic All-Patriot League selections, and a Patriot League Championship in the steeplechase in a busy spring. Mcmenamin's championship in the steeplechase culminated a fantastic career in the event after earning runner-up honors in each of the past two seasons. McMenamin also improved his 2019 time by over nine seconds in capturing his first Patriot League gold medal.
McMenamin becomes the first Academic All-District selection since Jordan Montero and Ethan Dunne earned the distinction in 2019. Additionally, McMenamin earned the Ronald J. "Pete" Pedrick Award from the Bucknell Athletic Department this spring for demonstrated improvement and special contributions to Bucknell Athletics.
The Souderton, Pa. native will now move on to Academic All-American voting scheduled to be released later this summer. Luke Giugliano was the last Bison to earn All-American honors, earning Third-Team accolades in 2016 before being named to the First Team in 2017.
