Bucknell Men's Lacrosse Lands 33 on PL Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bucknell men's lacrosse team placed 33 student-athletes on the 2021 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday.

The Bison have now placed at least 20 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll every season since 2011, an 11-year stretch. They ranked third in total of 2021 honorees behind Lafayette (44) and Lehigh (34).

During the spring semester, Bucknell posted a combined grade point average of 3.37. Senior Brendan Egan, freshman Duncan Hill and sophomore Joe Scattareggia achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Earlier this year, seniors Bryant Boswell and Tommy Sopko represented Bucknell on the Academic All-Patriot League Team.

Four seniors were recognized all four years of their time in Lewisburg: Egan, Sopko, J.J. Alicea and Ben Clark. In addition, fifth year Matt Fedorjaka, who transferred to Bucknell following his freshman season at Fairfield University, made his fourth Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. A total of 274 men's lacrosse players were honored this season. The following are the Bucknell men's lacrosse team's 2021 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members:
